A judge this week declined to order federal agencies to restore public access to climate and environmental justice webpages removed by EPA and other agencies under the Trump administration.

Judge Rudolph Contreras of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia said the Sierra Club and other advocacy groups failed to meet the high legal bar to obtain a preliminary injunction.

“At most, Defendants’ actions have made it marginally more difficult for Plaintiffs to advance certain initiatives, including providing information and resources to the public. That is not the type of harm that courts typically recognize as irreparable,” Contreras wrote in a memorandum opinion Wednesday.
