The former head of the Sierra Club is leading a new climate change-focused investment and philanthropy fund.

Michael Brune announced the launch of the project, the Clean Break Fund, this week. It’s backed by philanthropist and cryptocurrency executive Chris Larsen, while Brune and fellow Sierra Club alum Jodie Van Horn will be leading it. Van Horn is the fund’s managing director.

In addition to investing and philanthropy, the project will be spending in politics on climate priorities.
