The House passed two more fiscal 2026 spending bills Wednesday — a meaningful show of bipartisan progress ahead of the Jan. 30 funding deadline.
Across the Capitol, senators are continuing negotiations to set up a vote on a three-bill package funding the Department of Energy, the Interior Department, EPA and other agencies.
House lawmakers voted 341-79 to send their two-bill package — Financial Services-General Government and State-Foreign Operations — over to the Senate.
