Then-Vice President Kamala Harris could have given a better answer on fracking in a high-stakes 2024 television interview, she wrote in her new memoir.
Harris’ book, “107 Days,” chronicles her presidential campaign that began July 21, 2024, when then-President Joe Biden dropped out of the campaign and threw his endorsement behind his vice president.
In August, Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, sat down for their first major television interview with CNN’s Dana Bash since Harris became the Democrats’ nominee.
The interview location — a soul food restaurant in Savannah, Georgia — was “not a good choice as background for a sit-down television interview,” Harris wrote.
