Longtime head of Western green group to step down

Western Resources Advocates announced this week it will conduct a national search for a new leader.

Jon Goldin-Dubois said that he will step down as the organization’s president at the end of this year, after spending 12 years at its helm.

“Serving our mission to fight climate change and its impacts has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” Goldin-Dubois said in a video. “Together, we’ve grown in ways that will have a lasting impact on the West and on our communities.”

Western Resources Advocates, which is based in Boulder, Colorado, focuses on state-level action across Arizona, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
