A Senate Energy and Natural Resources staffer is departing Capitol Hill after nearly four decades to head the lobbying firm Natural Resource Results.
David Brooks, who first arrived on Capitol Hill to work for Rep. Mo Udall (D-Ariz.) on the House Natural Resources Committee in 1987, has been on ENR’s staff for 36 years. He most recently served as general counsel.
Brooks will advise Natural Resource Results’ clients on legislative strategy and conservation policy in his new role, according to a press release announcing his hire. The firm lobbies on natural resources and public lands issues.
“David Brooks’ legacy on Capitol Hill is one of unparalleled service and achievement,” said David Anderson, managing partner of Natural Resource Results. “We are honored to welcome him to our team and look forward to the perspective and experience he will share with our clients.”
