The leading Republican candidate in the race to succeed retiring Montana Rep. Ryan Zinke is promising voters that he will oppose efforts to sell federally owned land.

Aaron Flint — a conservative radio host backed by the GOP incumbent, as well as President Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) — indicated he would carry on the retiring congressman’s record of fighting large-scale federal land transfers.
