The Energy and Commerce Committee will vote on multiple bills across the panel’s wide reach, including measures affecting wastewater infrastructure and battery manufactures.

The markup, rescheduled from last week, will include H. R. 2269, the “Wastewater Infrastructure Pollution Prevention and Environmental Safety (WIPPES) Act,” from Rep. Lisa McClain (R-Mich.).

The legislation, versions of which have been under consideration for years, aims to prevent wipes from clogging sewer systems. The bill would have the Federal Trade Commission issue rules requiring “Do Not Flush” labels.
