The Senate confirmed President Donald Trump’s nominee Wednesday for the last open seat on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and also confirmed his pick to lead NASA.

NRC pick Douglas Weaver, who has experience working at the commission and in the private sector, passed with a bipartisan vote of 71-29, after he vowed to protect the agency’s independence. A similar dynamic played out with Trump’s previous NRC nominee, Ho Nieh.

NASA selection Jared Isaacman was on the road to confirmation earlier this year before the White House pulled his nomination. The Elon Musk ally cleared the Senate 67-30.

Separately, senators are poised to approve a resolution with dozens of nominees, including Jeffrey Hall to lead EPA’s enforcement office and Douglas Troutman to head the agency’s chemicals office.
