Another unoccupied beach house collapsed this week at the Cape Hatteras National Seashore in North Carolina — the third to fall into the Atlantic Ocean since Friday.

The house in Rodanthe that fell Tuesday afternoon was damaged Friday evening when debris from two nearby houses washed back to shore. The owner of the house at 23039 G A Kohler Court has hired a contractor for cleanup, according to a news release from the seashore.

Swimmers and surfers are being advised to stay out of the water due to the amount of dangerous debris. Seashore officials have closed the beach in front of the homes.
