President Donald Trump on Monday promised to take control of an “out-of-control” bureaucracy as he signed executive orders to freeze pending Biden regulations, exit the Paris climate agreement and prod federal employees into their offices full time.

Trump promised a “thrilling new era of national success” Monday as he blasted the Biden administration as “the worst” administration in history. Trump signed executive orders Monday evening at a rally in downtown Washington following his inauguration at the U.S. Capitol.

Several of his first orders were aimed at freezing or undoing Biden-era policies and following through on his campaign promises to reduce the size of the federal workforce.
