Alex joined the E&E News copy desk in 2012 after years of copy editing and web production for Washington, D.C., publications The Washington Examiner and Roll Call. He has worked at both local print newspapers and online-only subscription publications, with a heavy focus on politics, public policy, the legislative process and D.C.-area issues. He graduated from American University in D.C. with a degree in journalism.
